This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Change Manager (Mid-Senior) based in Canada.
This role focuses on turning software adoption into measurable business outcomes within customer accounts.
You will work directly with users to understand why new tools are not changing established behaviors and design practical interventions that drive action.
Rather than simply delivering training, you will help users incorporate new decisions and workflows into their day-to-day operations.
You will work with operators, specialists, and executives, tailoring change strategies to different motivations, concerns, and levels of influence.
A key part of the role is connecting user behavior and platform adoption to measurable financial value for customers.
You will operate with significant autonomy, prioritizing accounts where adoption and renewal opportunities create the greatest impact.
Success will be demonstrated through faster time-to-value, increased meaningful usage, measurable customer outcomes, and repeatable adoption practices.
Accountabilities
- Identify the critical decisions and behaviors that users need to change in order to realize value from the platform.
- Design practical adoption strategies that integrate new recommendations and workflows into users' existing processes rather than creating unnecessary additional steps.
- Help users reach their first meaningful business result quickly and remove barriers preventing them from taking action.
- Engage directly with different stakeholder groups, adapting change and communication approaches for operators, specialists, executives, and other users.
- Monitor user activity and adoption patterns, distinguishing meaningful actions from basic logins or passive platform usage.
- Track user decisions and connect adoption metrics to measurable financial outcomes that customer executives can understand and validate.
- Prioritize customer accounts based on adoption gaps, business potential, renewal timelines, and opportunities to demonstrate value quickly.
- Develop early users into internal champions who can encourage broader adoption across their organizations.
- Expand successful adoption approaches from initial users or teams to wider customer rollouts.
- Create clear value stories and evidence demonstrating the business impact achieved through improved adoption.
- Document successful approaches and transform manual change-management activities into repeatable processes that customer teams can operate independently.
- Work toward measurable 90-day outcomes, including live accounts demonstrating meaningful behavioral change, credible value cases, and scalable adoption frameworks.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience driving software adoption, customer success, change management, or similar outcomes within real customer accounts, ideally in a B2B environment.
- Proven ability to influence non-technical, time-constrained users to change established daily behaviors rather than relying solely on one-time training.
- Strong understanding of change management, user adoption, customer engagement, and behavioral transformation.
- Ability to connect user activity and adoption metrics to commercial or financial outcomes.
- Strong commercial judgment and the ability to prioritize accounts where adoption gaps, low usage, or upcoming renewals create the greatest opportunity.
- Highly organized and disciplined approach to tracking activities, user behavior, progress, and measurable results.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging to users, specialists, champions, and senior executives.
- Self-directed and comfortable working remotely with limited oversight while taking full ownership of outcomes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify adoption barriers and develop practical solutions.
- Experience transforming manual processes into repeatable frameworks that customer teams can eventually manage independently.
- Outcome-oriented mindset, with a focus on measurable behavior change, customer value, and business impact rather than activity volume.
