This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Change Manager, PM Consultant based in United States.
This role will support an enterprise-wide PMO by embedding structured change management practices across complex transformation initiatives. You will help organizations successfully navigate changes involving systems, processes, tools, people, and ways of working. The position combines change management expertise with a strong program management mindset and requires the ability to influence stakeholders across dispersed teams and departments. You will develop frameworks, communication strategies, adoption tools, and practical approaches that help initiatives deliver lasting results. The role offers significant exposure to enterprise transformation, including system integrations, technology implementations, employee training, and process optimization. This is a long-term consulting opportunity for a strategic and hands-on change leader who can turn complex transformation requirements into effective adoption strategies.
Accountabilities:
- Establish and implement change management frameworks and best practices using the Prosci ADKAR model or a comparable structured methodology.
- Design and develop change management tools, techniques, and approaches that can be applied across multiple departments and geographically dispersed teams.
- Support enterprise transformation initiatives involving system integrations, technology and tool implementations, employee training, communications, and process optimization.
- Develop clear, effective communication content and key messages tailored to different stakeholder groups and internal audiences.
- Advise program team members and client stakeholders on change management strategies, adoption practices, and effective implementation approaches.
- Partner with program teams to integrate change management tools and techniques throughout relevant phases and workstreams of operational improvement initiatives.
- Embed change management and audience adoption principles into program communications and engagement activities.
- Establish methods for measuring the effectiveness of change management activities and continuously refine tactics based on results and stakeholder feedback.
- Apply sound judgment and discretion when addressing complex organizational, stakeholder, and transformation challenges.
- Support the broader PMO by integrating change management practices into program planning, execution, and delivery.
Requirements:
- 7–8+ years of change management experience within complex enterprise organizations.
- Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale enterprise change management and transformation programs with a strong program management and delivery mindset.
- Prosci certification is required, with practical experience applying the Prosci ADKAR methodology or similar formal change management frameworks.
- Prior consulting experience and/or experience working within a developing or evolving PMO environment is highly valued.
- Industry experience in energy, oil, or gas is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is required.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders across different functions, levels, and organizational environments.
- Strong strategic thinking, negotiation, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to process complex information quickly, analyze organizational challenges, and translate findings into concise, insightful recommendations suitable for executive audiences.
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional program teams.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple transformation priorities in a dynamic consulting environment.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship or transfer and must reside and work in the United States throughout the engagement.
Benefits:
- Long-term consulting engagement of approximately 9 months or longer.
- Expected annual compensation range of $125,000–$150,000, depending on experience, education, location, certifications, and other qualifications.
- Remote working arrangement with required availability during Central Standard Time hours.
- Approximately monthly travel to Houston, Texas.
