This role offers the opportunity to manage high-impact projects for complex enterprise clients within a leading HR technology environment. As a Client Project Manager, you will serve as a key partner between customers and internal teams, translating business challenges into effective solutions and ensuring successful project delivery. You will combine project management expertise, technical understanding, and customer relationship skills to improve client experiences and operational outcomes. Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, you will help optimize processes, drive product adoption, and deliver measurable value to organizations. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex operational challenges. The role is fully remote within the United States and supports clients located in the Central Time Zone.
Accountabilities
- Manage and execute critical projects for large, complex clients, ensuring successful delivery against defined objectives, timelines, and business requirements.
- Define project scope, create project plans, monitor progress, and communicate updates to internal teams and client stakeholders.
- Partner with Client Services, Account Management, Sales, and internal product teams to identify challenges and develop effective solutions.
- Gain a deep understanding of client business needs and recommend solutions using HR, payroll, and workforce management technologies.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure responsibilities are clearly defined, project milestones are achieved, and risks are proactively managed.
- Lead client meetings, provide project updates, and support executive-level communication with senior stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process automation, product enhancements, and operational improvements based on client feedback.
- Advocate for client needs by gathering insights, sharing recommendations with internal teams, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support quarterly business reviews and strategic conversations focused on client satisfaction, retention, and growth.
- Stay informed on HR technology, payroll, benefits, and workforce management trends to provide relevant guidance to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 5–7 years of experience in project management, technical account management, client services, or a similar customer-facing role.
- Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Strong project planning, organizational, and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Previous experience working directly with enterprise clients and executive-level stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of HR technology, payroll systems, workforce management solutions, or HCM platforms is highly preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting capabilities.
- Ability to understand technical concepts, troubleshoot operational challenges, and translate business needs into actionable solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority and drive projects forward in collaborative environments.
- Experience with product training, instructional design, or client enablement is a plus.
