In this senior leadership role, you will own the design, governance, and compliance of complex global compensation programs, with a strong focus on equity and innovative compensation structures. You will operate at the intersection of legal, finance, and HR, ensuring that compensation frameworks meet stringent regulatory standards while supporting broader business and growth objectives. The role requires deep expertise in equity-based compensation, IPO-related frameworks, and emerging models such as crypto or token-based compensation. You will also serve as a key advisor to executive leadership, helping translate regulatory complexity into scalable, compliant compensation strategies. This is a highly cross-functional position that demands precision, strategic thinking, and strong stakeholder influence in a fast-moving global environment. You will also play a central role in shaping how compensation programs evolve as the organization continues to scale internationally.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the rollout, governance, and ongoing administration of global compensation and equity programs, ensuring alignment with organizational strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure full compliance of compensation structures with applicable SEC regulations, global legal frameworks, and internal governance standards.
- Partner with Legal, Finance, and Executive leadership to design, implement, and refine compensation plans, including equity, IPO-related structures, and alternative compensation models.
- Monitor regulatory developments and proactively update policies, processes, and documentation to ensure continuous compliance.
- Conduct audits, prepare compliance reports, and ensure accurate documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide guidance, training, and advisory support to HR teams and business leaders on compensation compliance practices.
- Support due diligence activities and contribute to risk mitigation strategies across compensation programs.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in compensation, compliance, legal, or related roles with strong exposure to equity compensation structures.
- Demonstrated expertise in IPO environments, RSUs, ESPPs, and global equity or incentive compensation programs.
- Strong understanding of SEC regulations, compensation compliance frameworks, and global regulatory standards.
- Experience with crypto, token-based compensation, or innovative reward structures strongly preferred.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, Law, or related field; advanced degree or certifications (e.g., CEP, JD) are a plus.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail when handling sensitive financial and employee data.
