This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a PreSales Consulting Systems Engineer. In this role, you will provide critical pre-sales technical support to our customers, helping to articulate the value of our solutions and ensure satisfaction. You'll work collaboratively with Territory Managers to convert leads into successful engagements and drive the sales process with your expertise in networking infrastructure technologies. This opportunity will allow you to utilize your consultative skills to tailor solutions that meet complex customer requirements while enhancing your professional development in a flexible remote environment.
Accountabilities
- Manage account and partner responsibilities for selected accounts in assigned territory.
- Provide the optimum combination of hardware, software, and services to meet complex customer needs.
- Play a role in the development of bids, proposals, and presentations of solutions.
- Provide specific technology and sales support for accounts in the assigned territory.
- Deliver technical presentations for customers, partners, and potential prospects.
- Manage vendor partners to drive business and deliver demand generation events.
- Maintain and manage a sales pipeline and forecasts against regional goals.
- Provide consultative support to key internal/external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in infrastructure engineering and successful pre-sales support preferred.
- Strong oral and written communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to design and manage solutions to complex technical issues.
- Experience interfacing with senior levels of internal/external organizations.
- Mentoring experience for junior Systems Engineers is required.
- Industry expert-level certifications are strongly recommended.
