Accountabilities
- Leading the development of budgets and forecasts, including headcount, compensation, and vendor spend.
- Serving as a financial partner across teams, providing advice and support on financial decisions.
- Tracking and analyzing expenses, ensuring alignment with approved budgets.
- Conducting detailed variance analyses and communicating insights to improve performance.
- Delivering regular financial reports to senior G&A leaders with insightful commentary.
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure financial data integrity.
- Developing sophisticated financial models for strategic initiatives.
- Continuously improving financial processes for efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or financial planning roles
- Proven experience providing financial insights to senior leadership
- Expert financial modeling skills with proficiency in Excel/ GSheets
- Ability to streamline and improve financial processes
- Strong collaboration and business partnering skills
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Experience working directly with a CFO or Head of FP&A
- An act-like-an-owner mentality with a bias toward action
