Accountabilities
- Collaborate with Engineers and Architects to define the enterprise data architecture roadmap.
- Drive the design and optimization of OLTP and OLAP models for scalability and performance.
- Establish standards for data modeling, storage, and integration across systems.
- Partner with stakeholders in developing a comprehensive data and BI strategy.
- Define data governance practices and quality standards.
- Lead proof-of-concepts for new data technologies.
- Own the architectural review process for data-related projects.
- Establish best practices for ORM usage and SQL optimization.
- Evaluate AI/ML to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Stay updated with modern data engineering trends and big data platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in architecting Enterprise Data and BI solutions.
- Proven experience in designing large-scale data warehouse implementations.
- Ability to architect high-performance solutions for analytical workloads.
- Expertise in modern data architectures and dimensional modeling patterns.
- Proficiency in cloud data platforms and integration with diverse data sources.
- Deep understanding of visualization and reporting platforms.
- Ability to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
- Experience with ORM technologies and building robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and data quality practices.
