In this role, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact health research by overseeing data linkage operations within secure, cloud-hosted environments. You will ensure the delivery of high-quality datasets that meet privacy standards, supporting researchers in their vital work. Your leadership will be crucial in coordinating with team members and stakeholders to facilitate compliance and efficiency, enabling research initiatives that are federally funded and aligned with applicable policies. Accountabilities
- Lead planning and execution for data linkage, including deterministic, probabilistic, and privacy-preserving methods on longitudinal datasets.
- Direct day-to-day production encompassing study intake, DUA-driven workflows, linkage runs, validation, and delivery of research-ready files.
- Coordinate with technical leads and PPRL teams to maintain robust, scalable, and secure linkage workflows.
- Translate agency and provider policies into actionable processes and controls for linkage operations.
- Develop and manage metrics and dashboards to track linkage throughput, data quality, timeliness, and satisfaction.
- Drive improvements using automation and AI-enhanced workflows.
- Maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and resolution of issues.
- Lead and support training initiatives for scientists, analysts, and operations staff.
- Plan and execute transition activities related to linked datasets, documentation, automations, and tools.
Requirements
- Doctor’s degree in a relevant field such as biomedical sciences, bioinformatics, or health informatics.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience managing federal research, data management, or informatics programs.
- Deep understanding of federal data security and management standards.
- Extensive knowledge in risk management, quality assurance, and data security.
- Strong English communication skills for interaction with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Willingness to travel 10-25% for on-site collaboration.
