This role is critical for ensuring the seamless operation and reliability of cloud-native systems and applications. The right candidate will play a key role in building and maintaining automated infrastructures, collaborating with engineering teams to enhance system performance and efficiency. Accountabilities
- Configure and operate monitoring, logging, and tracing tools to enhance application performance.
- Build operational dashboards and automation workflows for system reliability and uptime.
- Monitor system performance and reliability, implementing necessary improvements.
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to design and implement robust systems.
- Write and maintain automation tasks to streamline infrastructure processes.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation for incident response and root cause analysis.
- Implement security and compliance best practices across infrastructure.
- Manage AWS EKS Kubernetes clusters for containerized applications.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), DevOps, or related fields.
- Familiarity with SRE concepts such as SLI/SLOs and Golden Signals.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proven experience with Kubernetes in areas like monitoring, deployment, and scaling.
- Deep understanding of AWS services including EC2, EKS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using GitHub Actions.
- Scripting expertise in Bash Shell.
- Solid knowledge of Docker and container registries.
- Proficiency with Linux-based systems and troubleshooting.
