We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented FP&A Manager to drive financial planning and analysis for a high-growth SaaS organization. In this role, you will partner closely with Sales leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver accurate forecasts, insightful reporting, and actionable recommendations. You will lead a dedicated FP&A team, improving planning processes, optimizing revenue and operating expense management, and ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. This position offers the opportunity to influence key decisions, enhance financial rigor, and support growth initiatives in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Success in this role requires analytical expertise, strong communication skills, and the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business insights.
Accountabilities:
- Lead end-to-end revenue and sales Opex planning processes, building budgets and forecasts in collaboration with Sales leadership.
- Develop a deep understanding of revenue recognition standards (ASC 606) and core sales drivers to deliver accurate forecasts, variance analysis, and actionable insights.
- Partner with Sales and Accounting teams to identify, quantify, and communicate key risks and opportunities, ensuring alignment between operational performance and financial reporting.
- Guide the FP&A team in producing high-quality financial analyses, scenario modeling, and budget reporting to inform strategic prioritization and resource allocation.
- Define, track, and continuously refine Sales KPIs, translating complex data into decision-ready reporting for senior leadership.
- Analyze diverse data sets to generate reports and dashboards that support business decisions.
- Mentor and lead the FP&A team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, consulting, or a related function.
- Experience managing or leading a team.
- Proven ability to partner effectively with Sales organizations.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, and financial modeling.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of distilling complex issues into actionable insights.
- Hands-on, service-oriented approach to leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s degree or CFA/CPA preferred).
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools to enhance analytical rigor, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Bonus: experience with B2B SaaS revenue models, FP&A tools such as Pigment, Hyperion, Anaplan, or Adaptive.
