We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer who can contribute immediately to active projects with minimal ramp-up. This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong technical foundation who is comfortable taking ownership of design tasks, working across multiple projects, and delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will play a key part in the execution of ongoing projects, contributing to both technical design and overall project delivery. You will work across multiple active projects, applying engineering judgment to real-world constraints including timelines, budgets, and coordination across disciplines.
What You’ll Do
- Perform structural analysis and design for a variety of building projects
- Take ownership of design tasks across multiple active projects
- Prepare detailed calculations, reports, and construction documents
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal teams to move projects forward efficiently
- Apply engineering judgment to meet project timelines and client expectations
- Support and mentor early-career engineers
- Participate in site visits, field coordination, and client interactions

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- At least 3 years of structural design experience
- Ability to contribute with minimal ramp-up
- Experience working on multiple concurrent projects
- Strong understanding of real-world project delivery
- EIT required; PE in progress or recently obtained preferred
- Proficiency in structural analysis/design software
- Experience with Revit and/or AutoCAD
- Strong communication skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Computer-based work for prolonged periods during analysis, drafting, and documentation efforts
- Occasional field visits to construction sites requiring mobility and navigation of uneven terrain
- Light lifting of equipment or materials up to approximately 15 pounds

Compensation and Benefits
Compensation:
The base salary for this role is competitive and will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, education, and skills. The expected range for a qualified candidate with at least 3 years of experience is $95,000-$120,000. Additionally, we offer performance-based bonuses to recognize and reward outstanding contributions in each Reporting Center. Work Model
We operate with a flexible work model designed to support collaboration, mentorship, and flexibility across the team. Team members are typically in the office three days per week, with Mondays and Thursdays serving as core in-office collaboration days. During onboarding and training, employees are expected to spend additional time in the office to support learning, team integration, and project coordination.
Typical onboarding expectations include:
- Month 1: Primarily in-office
- Month 2: Approximately 4 days in-office
- Month 3+: Transition toward the team’s standard flexible schedule
