Day to day you will:
- Deliver accurate, high‑quality technical compliance work across financial statements, IFRS, and tax returns.
- Apply and grow your knowledge of the New Zealand Income Tax Act.
- Use innovative technology and standardised processes to drive efficiency and excellence.
- Manage your professional development by staying up‑to‑date with technical changes, completing CPD hours, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with your team to ensure smooth workflows and support the development of junior team members.
- Build strong working relationships across the business and respond promptly to client queries.
- Plan and manage your workload to meet deadlines while contributing to engagement profitability.

About you:
- 1+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a mid-tier or Big 4 accounting firm
- Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting and currently studying towards Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
- Detail‑oriented with a passion for producing accurate, high‑quality work.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to deepen your technical expertise in accounting and tax.
- Comfortably able to take direction while building the confidence to own your work.
- A strong communicator who enjoys supporting others and working collaboratively.
- Organised, reliable, and able to juggle deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Motivated by learning, growth, and contributing to better outcomes for clients and colleagues.
