The Data Enablements team is responsible for defining, building and supporting our high volume reusable cloud platform(s) enabling next generation features. These systems are used by all teams at Life360 and have tremendous impact on the overall operations of the product. Some of the maintained and owned services are the highest throughput in the company offering unique scaling challenges and opportunities.
As a Senior Backend Software Developer, Data Enablements, you'll be working closely with some of our most senior engineers, including Staff, on Java and Go technologies to enhance and extend our systems as well as building the next generation of high-frequency sensor data ingest by utilizing Java, Go, Kafka and Kafka Connect. Not only will you be building services, but you will have the opportunity to manage their deployment as well.
For candidates based in the US, the salary range for this position is $123,000-$180,500 USD. For candidates based out of Canada, the salary range for this position is $171,500-$201,000 CAD. We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in determining final salary - therefore, base pay offered may vary considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
