This role will be based in San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Chicago, New York City.
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about the science of selling and at driving organizational change. We are looking for a Sales Performance Consultant who will partner with LinkedIn Talent Solutions (LTS) senior Sales leaders and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and our Go-to-Market Enablement (GTME) team to deliver transformational behavior change initiatives that lead to improved business results.
As a Senior Sales Performance Consultant, you are responsible for recommendations and execution that improve sales strategy, processes and performance. You are highly attuned to the Sales organization’s strategy and goals, acting as an extension of its leadership team and partnering with Sales leaders to provide proactive recommendations that help grow the business.
You will leverage qualitative and quantitative analyses to provide insights into current sales blockers and skills and technology gaps that limit the potential of the sales team. Your extensive sales and business acumen ensures your successful evaluation of gaps in existing sales data and sales strategies. With these insights, you will identify opportunities for business critical sales processes, skills and technology enablement, creating strategic plans to improve seller performance by either winning more or saving time. You will design and execute tailored solutions, deliver learning experiences and change management strategies that enhance sales teams’ career trajectories and drive measurable results that move the business forward. Through your deep understanding of sales, you will act as the voice of the field to input into global enablement priorities and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Partners with business and cross-functional leaders as a Strategic Business Partner to deeply understand business strategies, goals, drivers and gaps, and proactively recommend opportunities to increase field productivity and growth — including tactics beyond enablement — to business leaders and cross-functional GTM team.
Builds a comprehensive and concise strategic enablement plan that drives measurable behavior change and business results.
Leverages enablement content and programs from GTME to create impactful behavior change programs that reinforce new or existing GTM motions, and acts as Voice of the Field to shape GTM Enablement priorities and ensure programs meet stakeholder needs.
Executes last-mile delivery and change management of enablement initiatives by translating GTME strategy into actionable steps, partnering with field leaders on needed sponsorship and communications, identifying and executing needed reinforcement, and monitoring measurable outcomes to ensure sustained behavior change and shared accountability.
Owns holistic enablement measurement strategy including both short- and long-term behavior change metrics, as well as alignment to business KPIs, aligning timelines for impact with the rhythm of the business (e.g., quarterly gap-closing initiatives, annual skill development priorities).
