We’re looking for a Marketing Lead to join our marketing team and help drive the day-to-day execution of Metalab’s content and social presence. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this role is responsible for keeping our editorial engine running across case studies, blog content, and social channels, ensuring consistency, quality, and momentum across everything we publish.
This role is highly collaborative and execution-focused. You’ll work closely with designers, writers, and internal teams to translate strategic direction into polished, on-brand content that reflects Metalab’s point of view and craft.
Success in this role means shipping high-quality work consistently, maintaining strong operational discipline, and helping Metalab show up with clarity and confidence across digital channels.
What you’ll do
Content production & editorial management
- Project manage the production of case studies from brief to publication, coordinating timelines, reviews, and handoffs with designers and internal teams.
- Manage the editorial calendar across case studies, blog posts, and supporting content.
- Coordinate content drafts, edits, approvals, and publishing workflows.
- Ensure all content aligns with Metalab’s voice, standards, and strategic priorities.
Social media management
- Manage day-to-day execution across LinkedIn, X, Threads, and Instagram.
- Write captions and supporting copy based on established brand and thought leadership direction.
- Schedule and publish posts, monitor engagement, and respond to comments and messages.
- Translate longer-form content and ideas into social-native formats.
- Maintain and manage the social content calendar in alignment with broader marketing initiatives.
Project management
- Own the marketing content calendar and ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with designers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to keep work moving.
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, or gaps early and proactively address them.
Analytics & reporting
- Track performance across content and social channels.
- Prepare regular reports and insights to inform future planning.
- Monitor what is resonating and flag opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in content marketing, social media, or brand marketing, ideally within a creative agency or product-led environment.
- Strong project management skills and comfort juggling multiple workstreams.
- Proven experience managing brand social media accounts.
- Strong writing and editing skills with an eye for detail.
- Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools for social and web performance.
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working from strategic direction.
- A strong appreciation for design, storytelling, and craft.
