About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Senior Inventory Specialist to take on a pivotal role in our supply chain operations. The core focus of this position is to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all inventory data within our ERP system. You will be responsible for managing all inventory transactions and serving as the central point of contact for inventory management.
This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in supply chain and a passion for data accuracy to own all inventory transactions and contribute directly to operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Transactions: Execute all inventory-related transactions within the ERP system (NetSuite), including processing inbound shipments, item receiving, inventory adjustments, and managing transfers.
- Inventory Reconcilation: Ensure accurate inventory data synchronization by overseeing the reconciliation between the ERP system and third-party warehouse management systems. Work with the accounting team and third-party warehouses to investigate and resolve all identified inventory discrepancies and variances.
- Inventory Reporting: Generate and maintain comprehensive weekly inventory reports using data from both the ERP and third-party warehouse systems. Create dashboards for key inventory management metrics with data visualization tools like Tableau.
- System Optimization: Proactively identify and resolve system-related issues to ensure seamless transaction workflows. Recommend and implement system improvements, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and collaborate closely with technical teams on inventory system upgrades and project developments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in Supply Chain, with a preference for experience in the semiconductor or technology sectors. Must have proven expertise in inventory management, reconciliation, and detailed reporting, including experience coordinating physical inventory movement with warehouse teams.
- ERP Expertise: Highly proficient "power user" of ERP systems (such as SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics, or comparable platforms). A strong grasp of both transaction-level inventory processes and report generation is essential.
- Data Analysis Tools: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, including the ability to develop and work with complex formulas and queries. Experience with data visualization tools, like Tableau, is a significant advantage.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective cross-functional teamwork.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, effectively managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
