About the role
We're seeking an experienced Senior HR Advisor to support a diverse portfolio of Australian colleges and businesses. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you'll provide trusted advice across employee relations, employment legislation, remuneration, workforce reporting and the employee lifecycle, while partnering closely with leaders to deliver practical people solutions.
Essential
- Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience in a senior HR generalist role supporting diverse stakeholder groups
- Strong working knowledge of Australian and New Zealand employment legislation, employment agreements, modern awards and industrial relations frameworks
- Experience providing practical advice on complex employee relations, compliance and people matters
- Experience in reporting and data analysis
- Experience supporting geographically dispersed workforces and building strong relationships with leaders across multiple locations
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and customer-focused approach
Desirable
- Experience within the education sector or a large, complex organisation
- Familiarity with unionised and industrial relations environments, including collective bargaining and enterprise bargaining processes
