NBC News is seeking a creative and versatile Producer/Editor to help shape the next chapter of Nightly News: Kids Edition – the trusted, family-friendly newscast that explains the world to a new generation of viewers. This role is ideal for a journalist who can write, produce, shoot, and edit with both editorial rigor and a YouTube-native sensibility.
The ideal candidate is as comfortable crafting a story about global events as they are packaging it for digital attention spans – with curiosity, clarity, and a tone that feels authentic to kids and their families.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a short-term position with an estimated duration of 24 months or less, unless otherwise amended or terminated as deliverables within this project are completed.

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000
