The Program Operations team responsible for overseeing Studio Fulfillment provides client services & order management to several organizations throughout NBCUniversal including Television Distribution, Universal Pictures Home Entertainment Group, NBC News, NBC Sports, NBCU Global Networks, Bravo, Sky, Saturday Night Live, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night with Seth Meyers. Program Operations serves as the liaison between various departments to fulfill content to all distribution outlets. The Programming Coordinator will work closely with the various internal and external digital media groups, the 24/7 L1 Media support team, Media Operations QC teams, and Media Operations Engineering teams to ensure the accurate and reliable distribution of content to secondary platforms and third party clients.

Job Responsbilities:

  • Support brand/client engagement for day-to-day publication of NBCU content to secondary distribution platforms/clients, acting as a point of escalation for programming changes, content issues, content revisions, and special requests.
  • Help maintain operational rigor across the entire digital supply chain from inbound content delivery to NBCU facilities to outbound deliveries to multiplatform partners.
  • Work across multiple media asset management systems to process and deliver features, trailers, and episodic content.
  • Participate in both daily and weekly internal team meetings.
  • Provide regular order updates and escalate issues to team Specialist.
  • Regularly communicate with internal support teams to ensure content is delivered on time.
  • Communicate with various internal departments to facilitate completion for air.
  • Coordinator should be able to multi-task and pivot across projects or priority feature titles if priorities change and provide back up support for the team in other areas as needed.
  • Coordinator will need to have a flexible schedule to help prioritize work of late deliveries scheduled for client air.
  • Additional duties as needed and assigned by Supervisor(s). Work the coordinator is supporting is subjected to change based on business needs.

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • A High School Diploma and relevant certification or Associate's Degree in Media or Communications, or equivalent professional experience in broadcast, digital, or post production role.
  • A solid understanding of television production, broadcast operations, and/or news/sports/entertainment technical production requirements.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications and effective interpersonal skills
  • Minimum of 1 year in a role requiring effective communication with diverse audiences, ranging from non-technical senior leadership executives to technical professionals and operations staff
  • Minimum 1 year experience showing excellent application skill with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • 2 years+ experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, or analytical skills
  • 1 year+ experience working with video distribution in a TV Broadcast environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Technologies, Mass Communications or equivalent experience
  • Detail-oriented, clear thinking and adept at multi-tasking
  • Passion for broadcast and new media distribution- should enjoy keeping up to date with emerging platforms and the latest technology trends

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time
