The Supervisor of Main Entry Operations leads the team to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. Execute and assist with oversight of operations and Team Members within the Main Entry department which includes, but not limited to Admissions, Guest Ambassadors, Rentals, and Inventory Control. The Supervisor also partners with the Sales and Guest Experience team to support their initiatives. With a focus on creating a positive and efficient environment, you'll be instrumental in delivering memorable moments to our guests at every touchpoint.
Responsibilities
- Uphold Environmental Health and Safety standards for a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Mentor and counsel Team Members and Leads.
- Manage a daily workforce of 100+ Team Members, providing direction and conducting performance reviews.
- Foster cross-departmental relationships to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist with strategic planning to ensure positive experiences for both Team Members and guests.
- Coordinate and execute day-to-day operational needs, including special events.
- Collaborate closely with Managers for development planning and training coordination.
- Support Managers in hiring, training, and development of Team Members and Leads.
- Conduct one-on-one performance reviews and annual evaluations.
- Analyze training material to ensure updates and improvements.
- Implement or enhance existing Team Member incentive programs to foster a highly engaged team environment.
- Cultivate a culture of recognition using company and department tools.
- Uphold collective bargaining agreements, maintaining positive union relationships in partnership with Human Resources and Labor Relations.
- Investigate incidents, addressing Team Member and Guest concerns or complaints.
- Lead by example, modeling the company’s Core Values.
- Seek, implement, and monitor best practices.
- Participate as a Duty Manager to provide area coverage.
- Manage both labor and non-labor departmental budgets.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of leadership experience with a team of 20+ employees.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and nights as required onsite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Desired Characteristics:
- In-depth knowledge of Theme Park Operations.
- Experience in managing teams in a union environment.
- Strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Proactive thinker and self-starter.
- Excellent team player.
- Operations, Retail, or Hospitality background preferred
