We are seeking a highly skilled, growth focused Lead Data Scientist with expertise in statistics, mathematics, or econometrics, and high interest in panel data to revolutionize the way we measure consumer behavior both online and in-store.
Advanced data analytics: Support implementing our new consumer data collection App. Help defining new features and functionalities.
Methodology Enhancements: Evaluate and improve current collection methodologies, including panel recruitment, data cleaning, and quality tracking.
Deployment Support: Assist in the production of deployment of proposed enhancements and new solutions.
Documentation: Document findings, methodologies, and best practices comprehensively.
Coordination: Coordinate efforts across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and execution.
About You
You are interested in a deep understanding of consumer behavior, panel-based projections, and consumer metrics, and analytics. You have successfully applied your statistical and data analytical skills to real-world scenarios, demonstrating your ability to handle complex data sets and generate actionable insights. Experience with (un)managed crowdsourced panels and receipt capture methodologies is an advantage.
Educational Background: University degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience required; advanced/graduate degree preferred for some disciplines, with a minimum of 5 - 7 years of relevant experience.
Problem Solving: Guides others in resolving complex problems in specialized areas and takes a new perspective on existing solutions or solves problems where precedent does not exist.
Data Analysis Skills: Proficiency in manipulating, analyzing, and interpreting large data sets.
Programming Proficiency: Experience with Python, fluency in using pandas and experience or willingness to learn pySpark.
Database Handling: Skilled in SQL and working with queries and large-scale databases.
Continuous Learning: Eagerness to adopt and develop evolving technologies and tools.
Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication, writing, and collaboration skills.
