The Task At Hand:
As the Finance intern at Once Upon A Farm, you will have the opportunity to work with a leading children's nutrition brand, focused on driving systemic improvement in childhood nutrition for a healthier, happier, and more equitable world. This internship reports to the VP of FP&A and is a fully remote role, focused on financial reporting, forecasting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver business results. This role will also partner closely with Accounting and Cost Center owners on the budgeting & reporting.
In This Role, You Will:
- Deliver monthly financial reporting and variance analyses to provide visibility into business performance and key drivers.
- Liaise with Accounting and cross-functional business partners to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
- Support cost center reporting, and collaborate with cost center owners on budgeting and forecasting for General & Administrative expenses. Identify and communicate key risks and opportunities to help achieve strategic and financial goals, enabling proactive decision-making.
- Manage Travel & Entertainment (T&E) spending and provide accurate & timely reporting to department leads.
- Maintain dynamic financial models and forecasts, sharpening assumptions to drive forecast accuracy and build confidence in operating plans.
- Support annual and quarterly reforecast processes to deliver against our financial and strategic objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
- Evolve and implement scalable FP&A processes and tools to enhance data accuracy, streamline reporting, and improve the overall quality and speed of financial analysis.
- At the end of the internship, you’ll be asked to share a 5-10 minute presentation on one thing you worked on during your internship here, what you learned, and how you hope to apply any learnings from your time here toward your future career.
In This Role, You Will Bring With You:
- Either a recent graduate of or currently pursuing degrees in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- No BA? No problem. An equivalent years of professional experience in the field(s) of Finance, Accounting, or related focus will also meet this qualification.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; exposure to Power BI, SQL, or other tools is a plus.
- Basic understanding of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting and/or variance analysis through coursework, internships, or projects.
- Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through data, identify trends, and draw logical conclusions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data and analysis into clear takeaway.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to receive feedback, iterate, and learn quickly in a collaborative team environment.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Slack, and other professional platforms
- Up to 10% travel required: Although this role is a remote work-from-home position, we “Farmers” do meet as a company and/or as a department a few times a year. Anticipate possible travel up to a few times each year.

- Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
- Must be able to work up to 29 hours per week Monday through Friday during the internship.
- Must be graduating in Summer/Spring 2026 or already graduated.
Compensation:
- This role pays $22.00. per hour
- This is a part-time, hourly internship, not to exceed 29 hours per week
- Estimated Duration: March 2026 – September 2026 (or six months from the date of hire)
