The Technical Consulting Practice is made up of leading experts on Outreach, CRM, and sales technologies who bring innovation to implementation each and every day. As a vital part of our onboarding and optimization processes, the technical consulting team ensures our customers utilize Outreach to the fullest technical potential while adhering to best practices.

The Role

As a Sr. Technical Consultant you will play an important role working as a technical subject matter expert in a wide variety of SaaS technologies within the Professional Services line of business. You will work closely with internal and external consultants and technology experts to implement, upgrade, and configure various solutions in our sales engagement platform. This role will play a key part in our expanding AI initiatives, supporting customers in enabling and configuring AI capabilities within our platform. You will also act as a trusted advisor, helping organizations adopt and operationalize AI to drive measurable business value. The success of this role will be measured by the overall business impact, client adoption of technology best practices, and quality of platform setup conducted by the consultant.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

• Manage and execute on implementations & projects for customers, including AI-enabled solution deployments within our platform
• Perform detailed discovery with customers around their CRM usage and translate that to Outreach integration functionality
• Serve as the go-to subject matter expert on Outreach technologies and AI features for internal and external stakeholders
• Partner with Program & Project Managers, Professional Services Consultants, Trainers, and customer stakeholders to successfully drive projects to completion
• Explore client processes and distill information from multiple sources to inform complex configuration setup and integration design
• Support the adoption of AI-enabled workflows
• Collaborate with client technical experts to establish a thorough configuration testing plan

Our Vision of You

Experienced Technical Consultant -  you have 4-5 years of experience working in a SaaS consulting role, with at least 2 years of experience in a technical or support role

Technical Aptitude  - You have a history of mastering new technologies and technical skills quickly and efficiently. You also have a demonstrated ability to enact creative technical testing and troubleshooting processes

AI-Curious & Adaptable - You stay current on AI-enabled tools and workflows, pick up new AI capabilities quickly, and look for practical ways to apply automation and AI-driven insights to improve your work and your customers' outcomes

Consultant & Trusted Advisor  -  You have the ability to discover the “how” and “why” of proposed solutions to determine feasibility and suggest alternatives

Strategic Problem Solver - You have a history of collaborating with teammates and enterprise level customers to solve difficult problems. You have a willingness to theorize about complex integration solutions while also being able to jump in and get things done 

Exceptional Communication Skills - You have experience successfully collaborating with client contacts at all levels of the organization chart and translating complex technical topics into language that can be understood by non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to speak with expert knowledge about a broad spectrum of technical topics including APIs, CRM Integration, security, privacy, and integrations

Familiarity with front-end and back-end development technologies

Admin certification with a CRM, such as Salesforce or Dynamics, or another SaaS platform

Track record of leading with optimism to help others persevere in difficult situations

Expertise in working with a Sales Engagement Platform

History of working with internal Product or Engineering teams to improve product features and capabilities
