Sage Intacct Consultant

Pine Services·about 18 hours ago

Full-time Senior🇺🇸 USA📅 Sep 2, 2026

One of Pine's portfolio companies is a fast-growing Sage Intacct partner helping mid-market businesses transform their finance and operations. They're looking for a Sage Intacct Consultant to serve as the primary technical resource for their clients — guiding them from discovery through implementation and into a long-term support relationship.

This is a role that's as relational as it is technical. The successful candidate will work directly with clients across every phase of the engagement — setting up and configuring Sage Intacct, training end-users, and providing ongoing post-go-live support. If you're energized by solving complex problems, building lasting client relationships, and working in a fast-moving environment where your work directly impacts client success, this role is for you.

This is a fully remote role, with the employee primarily working from their home office.

What You'll Do

    Implementation & Configuration

    • Lead and manage Sage Intacct implementations following the company's prescribed implementation methodology, keeping projects on time and on budget.
    • Analyse and document system and business requirements, translating client needs into scalable Sage Intacct configurations.
    • Set up and configure Sage Intacct modules according to client-specific requirements, including third-party integration tools.
    • Develop test scripts to support client testing phases and validate system configurations prior to go-live.
    • Develop reports and dashboards within Sage Intacct tailored to each client's reporting needs.
    • Client Training & Support

      • Train end-users on Sage Intacct functionality, ensuring a smooth and confident transition to the new system.
      • Provide ongoing technical support to clients post-go-live, managing and resolving support tickets in a timely manner.
      • Build and maintain long-term "Client for Life" relationships — serving as a trusted advisor well beyond the initial implementation.
      • Make proactive recommendations for new processes and procedures that improve client outcomes.
      • Project & Team Collaboration

        • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are consistently met.
        • Work closely with the sales team and other support team members to coordinate project tasks and ensure seamless handoffs.
        • Provide regular written project status updates for internal teams and clients.
        • Collaborate with developers and team members to define and prioritize client enhancement needs.
        • Research and escalate complex software issues, identifying improvements and opportunities for resolution.
        • Contribute to the development of internal processes, templates, best-practice documentation, and the knowledge base library.

What They're Looking For

    Required

    • 1+ years of experience in ERP software consulting or implementation; Sage Intacct experience strongly preferred.
    • Strong accounting background — able to intelligently discuss accounting concepts and understand the financial processes behind the systems being configured.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with impeccable client service instincts.
    • High emotional intelligence — this role requires both technical depth and the ability to build trust with clients across diverse industries.
    • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously without losing quality or responsiveness.
    • Solid aptitude for ERP software products and comfort learning new platforms quickly.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, growth-oriented environment with an expanding client base.
    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Technology, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and standard collaboration tools.
    • Nice to Have

      • Hands-on experience with Sage Intacct implementation across multiple modules.
      • Experience setting up and configuring third-party integrations with Sage Intacct.
      • Familiarity with ConnectWise or similar ticketing/PSA platforms.
      • Experience developing reports and dashboards within Sage Intacct.

What They Offer

  • Location: Remote
  • Employment Type: Full-Time
  • Salary: Competitive & bonuses
  • Benefits: Competitive benefits package (medical, dental, vision), generous PTO and company-observed holidays, 401(k) with employer match, professional development opportunities, and a people-first culture backed by Pine Services Group
