One of Pine's portfolio companies, Alliance Solutions Group, is a leading Sage Intacct partner for the construction industry and a fast-growing professional services organization. As Alliance continues to scale, they are investing in the leadership, infrastructure, and insights needed to support their next stage of growth. They're looking for a Senior Director of Finance to serve as a strategic business partner to their leadership team — helping shape how the company plans, measures, and makes decisions across the business.
This role sits at the intersection of financial planning, business intelligence, and business strategy — translating financial and operational data into clear insights that help leaders understand performance, evaluate opportunities, and make informed decisions. The right candidate will bring an Alliance-first mindset, move comfortably between the details and the bigger picture, and help Alliance scale with confidence.
This is a fully remote role reporting directly to the CEO, with a seat on the Executive Leadership Team. Quarterly travel is expected for leadership offsites.

What They're Looking For
Required
- 7–12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, strategic finance, or finance leadership — ideally within a PE-backed, high-growth, or professional services environment.
- Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities, with the ability to independently build and evaluate multi-year forecasts, investment and ROI models, pricing scenarios, and complex business cases.
- Strategic and commercial mindset that extends beyond Finance — you understand how the pieces of a business connect and can translate performance and market dynamics into thoughtful growth recommendations.
- Exceptional executive communication skills — able to distill complex financial information into clear, compelling insights for senior leadership, investors, and board-level audiences.
- Proven leadership capability, with experience developing high-performing teams, setting clear expectations, and creating accountability while empowering others to own their work.
- Strong ownership and a bias toward action — energized by building and evolving functions, proactively identifying opportunities, and creating structure in a growing organization.
Nice to Have
- Experience within professional services, SaaS, construction technology, or channel/partner-based business models.

- Exposure to AI, automation, or technology-enabled business transformation.
- Experience supporting M&A, due diligence, integration, or strategic acquisitions.
- A background that combines strong quantitative thinking with business strategy — whether through finance, economics, engineering, or another analytically rigorous discipline.
