About the Role:
Our team is in charge of planning the tasks and imagery acquisitions of Earth observation satellites. We do so with a small team of highly-skilled engineers from our offices in SF and Berlin and we are currently looking for a highly motivated and proactive Satellite Tasking Engineer to join our operations team.
Your mission will be to support day-to-day operations, which includes collection performance analysis, order monitoring, performing feasibility studies and the development of our operational tools.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter, quick learner, good communicator, and has the ability to switch contexts quickly. You will be working in a close collaborative environment, and will gain first-hand experience in numerous fields related to managing satellite image acquisition planning, geospatial data analysis, tool development and process automation by supporting our operations team.
This is a full-time, remote position based in the United States. If located near an office, you are expected to work from that office 3 days per week.

Compensation:
The US base salary range for this full-time position at the commencement of employment is listed below. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary short-term and long-term incentives (bonus and equity). The final salary range is determined by job related experience, skills and location. The range displays our typical hiring range for new hire salaries in US locations only.
