Role Overview

We’re hiring Software Engineers to contribute to Rightway’s products across web, mobile, and backend systems. You’ll work within a backend platform that spans multiple technologies, including services built with React, React Native, Node, NestJS, and TypeScript, as well as existing services implemented in Ruby on Rails.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working across the stack, want exposure to mobile and backend development, and are growing their technical ownership.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain features across React web applications, React Native mobile applications, and backend services
• Implement backend functionality using Node with NestJS and TypeScript and/or Ruby on Rails with GraphQL
• Collaborate with teammates to design and deliver product features
• Write clean, well tested, and maintainable code
• Participate in code reviews and technical planning
• Learn new systems and technologies as part of your growth

Who You Are

• 3+ years of experience building modern software products
• Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and React and/or React Native
• Some backend experience with Ruby on Rails, Node, or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with APIs using REST or GraphQL
• Interest in mobile or cross platform development
• Curious, collaborative, and eager to grow

Bonus Points for

• Experience with Ruby and Rails
• Exposure to Node, NestJS, and TypeScript based backend services
• Experience building or maintaining React Native mobile applications
• Experience working in healthcare or regulated environments
• Familiarity with data privacy and security considerations
• Startup or fast paced product experience
• Experience with Protobuf and or gRPC
