Senior Full Stack Engineer

What You’ll Do

• Design, build, and test scalable APIs, services, and full stack applications
• Develop internal and customer-facing tools, including React-based dashboards and workflows
• Partner with Engineering, Product, and Operations to solve complex business and technical challenges
• Contribute to platform modernization efforts, including the migration of legacy functionality into scalable services
• Influence architecture and technical decisions that improve scalability, reliability, security, and performance
• Write clean, maintainable code supported by automated testing, thoughtful code reviews, and modern engineering practices
• Identify opportunities to improve existing systems, developer experience, and long-term maintainability

• Languages and frameworks: Ruby on Rails, Python, Go, and React
• Data: Postgres, Redis, Kafka
• Infrastructure and DevOps: AWS, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, CircleCI

What You Bring

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience designing and building scalable applications, distributed systems, and APIs
• Strong proficiency in at least one backend language and experience with a modern frontend framework such as React
• Experience building reliable, secure, and well-tested software
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex technical challenges
• The ability to make thoughtful technical decisions while balancing immediate needs with long-term maintainability
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, including experience working across technical and nontechnical teams
• Curiosity, ownership, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly

• Experience with logistics, payments, user management, compliance, or fraud prevention
• Experience modernizing legacy systems or migrating functionality to service-based architectures
