Our client is a high-velocity advertising agency specializing in multi-channel campaigns across luxury, lifestyle, hospitality, e-commerce, and service-based industries. They deliver end-to-end marketing solutions spanning social media, email marketing, web content, paid media, branding, and creative strategy. Role Overview:
The Creative Content Strategist is a mid-level strategic marketing and content role focused on ideation, messaging, campaign direction, and creative collaboration across multiple client accounts. This is not a traditional graphic design role. While familiarity with creative tools is valuable, the primary focus is on strategic thinking, content planning, AI-assisted workflows, and the ability to develop compelling marketing concepts that align with each client’s industry, audience, and goals.
The ideal candidate is highly curious, adaptable, and capable of quickly learning new industries and translating complex ideas into engaging campaigns, content systems, and creative direction. They should be comfortable collaborating closely with designers, developers, and account managers while proactively contributing ideas that elevate campaign performance and brand positioning.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Strategy & Creative Direction
Develop strategic content concepts, messaging frameworks, and campaign ideas across multiple client accounts and industries.
Translate client goals, market positioning, and audience insights into actionable creative direction for internal teams.
Guide the development of social media campaigns, email sequences, landing page messaging, and brand storytelling initiatives.
Collaborate with designers, developers, and creative teams to ensure content execution aligns with strategy and brand standards.
Research competitors, trends, customer behavior, and industry positioning to identify opportunities for stronger messaging and differentiation.
AI-Enhanced Content Development
Leverage AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and similar platforms to support content ideation, research, outlining, copywriting, and creative workflows.
Refine and elevate AI-generated content to ensure it feels human, sophisticated, industry-aware, and aligned with each client’s tone of voice.
Use AI responsibly to improve efficiency while maintaining originality, strategic depth, and quality control.
Stay informed on emerging AI tools and workflows that can improve content production and marketing execution.
Social Media & Campaign Planning
Assist in planning and developing content calendars across platforms including Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube.
Contribute strategic ideas for audience growth, engagement, community-building, and content performance.
Develop platform-specific content directions, hooks, campaign concepts, and storytelling angles tailored to each audience.
Support campaign ideation for both evergreen and event-driven marketing initiatives.
Marketing Execution & Workflow Collaboration
Work closely with internal teams to coordinate project execution across multiple client accounts simultaneously.
Assist with writing and structuring marketing assets such as email workflows, social campaigns, ad concepts, blog outlines, and web copy.
Maintain organized workflows and proactive communication through platforms such as Asana, Google Workspace, and internal chat systems.
Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, deadlines, and client needs within a fast-paced agency environment.
Brand & Industry Understanding
Quickly learn and understand niche industries, client offerings, competitive landscapes, and customer personas.
Ensure content reflects the sophistication and nuances of each client’s industry rather than relying on generic or surface-level messaging.
Contribute thoughtful recommendations that improve campaign effectiveness, positioning, and overall marketing strategy.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in a marketing, advertising, content strategy, or creative agency environment.
Agency experience managing multiple clients and shifting priorities.
Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to independently develop ideas, concepts, and content directions.
Excellent written English with the ability to create polished, natural-sounding marketing content across multiple formats.
Experience using AI-powered tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar platforms within marketing or creative workflows.
Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing, and modern content strategy.
Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, developers, account managers, and leadership teams.
Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving agency environment.
Ability to quickly grasp new industries and adapt messaging accordingly.
Nice to Have:
Experience in luxury, lifestyle, hospitality, yachting, e-commerce, or high-end consumer brands.
Familiarity with paid media concepts and performance-focused marketing.
Experience contributing to campaign strategy, audience growth, or creative brainstorming initiatives.
Basic familiarity with tools such as Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or video editing platforms.
Experience working with Reddit, community-driven marketing, or unconventional audience acquisition strategies.
