As the organization continues to expand, they are seeking a Maintenance Planner to coordinate aircraft maintenance activities, ensure regulatory compliance, and maximize fleet availability through proactive maintenance planning and vendor coordination.
The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and tracking aircraft maintenance activities to ensure fleet reliability, regulatory compliance, and operational readiness. The Maintenance Planner will collaborate closely with Maintenance, Flight Operations, vendors, and leadership to manage maintenance schedules, coordinate inspections and repair events, maintain maintenance records, and minimize aircraft downtime. This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting Part 135 or Part 91 operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment where organization, communication, and attention to detail are essential.

Develop and maintain maintenance schedules based on aircraft utilization, flight hours, calendar intervals, and regulatory requirements.
Monitor upcoming inspections, maintenance events, and component replacement schedules to ensure continued airworthiness.
Coordinate scheduled maintenance activities to minimize aircraft downtime and operational disruption.
Build and manage detailed maintenance work packages for planned maintenance events.
Coordinate directly with maintenance facilities, repair stations, OEMs, and third-party vendors.
Obtain and evaluate maintenance estimates, repair proposals, and completion timelines.
Monitor maintenance progress and communicate status updates to internal stakeholders.
Escalate delays and work collaboratively with vendors to maintain maintenance schedules.
Maintain accurate aircraft maintenance records and supporting documentation.
Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, manufacturer recommendations, and company maintenance programs.
Verify maintenance records, logbook entries, and airworthiness documentation.
Support aircraft audits and regulatory inspections.
Partner with Flight Operations to coordinate aircraft availability and maintenance scheduling.
Track aircraft downtime and communicate operational impacts to internal teams.
Analyze maintenance trends and identify opportunities to improve fleet reliability and maintenance planning.
3–5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance planning, maintenance control, or maintenance coordination.
Previous experience supporting Part 135 or Part 91 flight operations is strongly preferred.
Experience managing aircraft maintenance records, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
Familiarity with FAA maintenance regulations and aircraft documentation requirements.
Experience coordinating with maintenance vendors, repair stations, and OEMs.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Excellent attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple aircraft maintenance events simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience using aircraft maintenance tracking software such as CAMP, Corridor, Traxxall, or similar platforms.
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to prioritize competing maintenance activities while maintaining regulatory compliance.
Proactive and highly organized with exceptional follow-through.
Aircraft maintenance events are planned and executed efficiently with minimal operational disruption.
Maintenance records remain accurate, complete, and audit-ready.
Aircraft consistently meet FAA regulatory compliance and airworthiness requirements.
Vendor relationships contribute to timely maintenance completion and reduced aircraft downtime.
Flight Operations and leadership receive accurate maintenance forecasts and proactive communication regarding aircraft availability.
Continuous improvements enhance maintenance planning, fleet reliability, and operational efficiency.
