Our client is an AI software startup focused on helping enterprise organizations adopt AI solutions that improve operational efficiency. As the company continues scaling its go-to-market strategy, they are seeking an experienced Mid-Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) to build and execute a high-performing outbound sales motion targeting executive-level decision makers.
The Mid-Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) will be responsible for driving enterprise pipeline generation through strategic outbound prospecting across cold calling, email, and LinkedIn. The Mid-Senior SDR will research target accounts, engage VP and C-level executives, qualify opportunities, and consistently book high-quality meetings for leadership. This role is ideal for an experienced outbound sales professional who enjoys enterprise prospecting, consultative conversations, and helping shape outbound sales strategy in a fast-growing AI startup.
Fully Remote | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM PST
Execute outbound prospecting through cold calls, personalized email campaigns, and LinkedIn outreach.
Research target accounts and tailor outreach to executive-level decision makers.
Build relationships with VP and C-level stakeholders.
Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities.
Qualify prospects against defined Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) criteria.
Conduct discovery conversations to identify business challenges and buying intent.
Schedule qualified meetings for leadership.
Ensure prospects are effectively transitioned through the sales process.
Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline data.
Track outreach activities, follow-ups, and prospect engagement.
Manage outbound sequences and prospect workflows.
Collaborate with leadership to refine sales messaging and outreach strategies.
Test and optimize email messaging and cold call scripts.
Share market feedback and customer insights with leadership.
Continuously improve outreach performance and conversion rates through experimentation.
4–7+ years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, or outbound prospecting.
Experience selling into enterprise or mid-market organizations.
Strong cold calling experience.
Experience booking meetings with VP and C-level stakeholders.
Experience managing complex outbound sales cycles.
Experience with HubSpot.
Experience with Apollo.
Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Experience with ZoomInfo.
Experience with Outreach or Salesloft.
Proficiency with Google Workspace.
Excellent verbal communication and executive presence.
Strong objection handling and consultative selling skills.
Ability to create highly personalized outbound messaging.
Strong account research and pipeline management skills.
Highly organized with excellent follow-through.
Self-motivated, resilient, competitive, and results-oriented.
Outbound activity targets are consistently exceeded.
High-quality meetings are booked with qualified enterprise prospects.
Strong conversion rates are achieved from outreach to discovery meetings.
