Role Overview

As the Senior Paid Media Strategist, you will own the strategy, execution, optimization, and performance of multi-channel paid media campaigns. You'll combine strategic planning with hands-on campaign management, overseeing initiatives across search, social, retargeting, and account-based marketing (ABM) channels while continuously improving results through testing, analytics, and AI-powered optimization.

This role is ideal for a senior performance marketer who enjoys building scalable acquisition systems, translating data into strategic decisions, and driving measurable business outcomes through paid media.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Strategy & Campaign Management

• Develop and execute paid media strategies across Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and other relevant advertising platforms.

• Build campaigns aligned with business goals, including brand awareness, lead generation, pipeline growth, and revenue generation.

• Manage campaign budgets, forecasting, pacing, and resource allocation to maximize performance.

• Oversee campaign planning, execution, optimization, and reporting across multiple channels.

Campaign Optimization & Performance

• Monitor campaign performance and optimize toward key metrics such as CPL, SQLs, ROAS, lead quality, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact.

• Analyze campaign data to identify opportunities for improvement across targeting, bidding strategies, audiences, creatives, and conversion paths.

• Troubleshoot campaign issues, tracking discrepancies, and performance gaps before they impact results.

• Continuously improve paid media efficiency through structured testing and data-driven optimization.

Testing & Conversion Optimization

• Develop and execute A/B testing strategies across ad creatives, messaging, audiences, bidding strategies, landing pages, and conversion paths.

• Analyze testing results and implement improvements that increase campaign effectiveness and lead quality.

• Recommend landing page and conversion funnel enhancements that improve acquisition performance.

Creative Strategy & Messaging

• Develop compelling ad copy, campaign messaging, and creative recommendations aligned with campaign objectives.

• Collaborate with creative teams to ensure paid media assets support business goals and resonate with target audiences.

• Use campaign performance insights to refine messaging and creative strategy.

AI & Marketing Innovation

• Leverage AI-powered tools to improve audience research, campaign automation, copy generation, reporting, and performance analysis.

• Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve operational efficiency through AI.

• Stay current with emerging AI technologies and paid media best practices.

Analytics, Attribution & Reporting

• Own paid media reporting, attribution analysis, and campaign performance measurement.

• Monitor customer journeys from first interaction through revenue generation.

• Deliver actionable insights and strategic recommendations to leadership.

• Ensure tracking, attribution, and reporting remain accurate and reliable.

Account-Based Marketing (ABM)

• Support ABM initiatives through highly targeted paid advertising campaigns.

• Develop strategies that engage priority accounts and high-value audiences.

• Collaborate with Marketing and Sales teams to align paid media efforts with revenue objectives.

Qualifications

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in paid media, performance marketing, or digital advertising.

• Proven experience developing and optimizing paid media campaigns that generate qualified leads, pipeline growth, and measurable revenue.

• Experience managing B2B paid media campaigns from strategy through execution.

• Experience overseeing campaign budgets, testing strategies, and performance optimization across multiple advertising platforms.

Skills

• Advanced experience managing Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, and other paid advertising platforms.

• Strong understanding of campaign structure, audience targeting, budget allocation, conversion optimization, retargeting, attribution, and performance analytics.

• Experience using CRM and marketing automation platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems.

• Proficiency with reporting, campaign analysis, and data visualization using Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and analytics platforms.

• Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools to improve campaign optimization, audience research, reporting, testing, and workflow automation.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills with the ability to present insights and recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
