Recruiting Coordinator
Scan Comยทabout 10 hours ago
We're Scan.com. We're building America's national imaging network: the infrastructure that connects patients, providers, and payers to faster, better-value diagnostic imaging. Thousands of patients move through our platform every day, and each is a real person waiting for an answer to a healthcare concern. We exist to get them that answer faster.
We manage the medical imaging pathway end-to-end. Providers order through a single point of entry, and from there, we run the entire medical diagnostic pathway. Managing the full pathway, rather than brokering pieces of it, is what lets us deliver imaging faster, at higher quality, and at a lower cost than the fragmented status quo.
We're looking for a Recruiting Coordinator at an exciting time. We've raised over $200m in funding to date, reached profitability, and are growing 100% year on year.
Millions of people wait too long for a diagnosis. Come help us fix that.
WHAT YOU WILL BE GETTING INVOLVED IN
As a Recruiting Coordinator, you'll support the candidate and new-hire experience from the moment a requisition opens to an employee's first day on the job. This is a remote role at the heart of how we bring new people into Scan.com. You'll be the connective tissue between hiring managers, candidates, and new starters, making sure nothing falls through the cracks as we keep growing fast.
As a scale-up business, you can expect your role to develop over time. Here are some of the types of things you could be getting involved in:
Support the end-to-end talent coordination process, from requisition opening through to an employee's Day One
Maintain and optimize Ashby, our applicant tracking system, so it works smoothly for hiring managers and candidates alike
Schedule interviews across time zones, keeping the experience seamless for candidates and interviewers
Coordinate internal interview loops and debriefs, keeping panels aligned and on schedule
Generate offer documentation and start details for incoming employees
Coordinate IT setup for new hires, making sure equipment and access are ready before Day One
Manage pre-onboarding communications so new hires feel informed and welcomed before they arrive
Support onboarding operations through an employee's first day
Help manage occasional requisitions, with the opportunity to build broader talent/recruitment experience over time
THE TOP 5 THINGS WE WANT YOU TO ACHIEVE IN YOUR FIRST YEAR ARE
Every candidate who moves through our process has a smooth, well-organized, and professional experience, from first interview to offer
Ashby is running as a clean, reliable system of record, giving hiring managers and the Talent team accurate visibility into every open requisition
New hires consistently arrive on Day One with their equipment, access, and onboarding plan fully in place, with zero last-minute scrambles
You've built trusted working relationships with hiring managers across the business, becoming the go-to person for a smooth hiring process
You've made our hiring experience more efficient by building in automations throughout the process without sacrificing quality or introducing bias
WHAT YOU MIGHT BRING TO THE TABLE
You don't need to tick all the boxes to apply for this role. Whether it's your first role or your fifth role, we believe everyone can add value, learn, and grow. However, these might be some of the ways you are currently adding value:
Strong organizational skills and comfort juggling multiple moving parts (interviews, offers, onboarding tasks) at once
Clear, professional written and verbal communication with candidates, hiring managers, and new hires
Experience with an ATS (we use Ashby), calendar scheduling tools, and HR systems
A drive to collaborate with your team on building a fair, consistent, and welcoming experience for every candidate who comes through our process
A genuine interest in growing a career in talent/recruitment, with an eagerness to take on more responsibility over time
Comfort working independently in a remote environment while staying closely coordinated with your team
Experience using AI and/or automation tools to improve processes, distinguishing between the activities that need to have a human in the loop and the processes where technology can save time
Experience integrating with ChartHop is a plus
AI REQUIREMENTS
At Scan.com, AI isn't a side project; it's how we work. We expect everyone to use AI to think faster, remove drudgery, and multiply their output. What we care about is judgment: knowing when AI makes you sharper, when it doesn't, and how to use it responsibly around patient data. We'll assess this in the way that matters for this role, using the tier below. You don't need to be an engineer. You need to be someone who reaches for the best tool and gets more done because of it.
Tier 2 โ For this role, the expectation is that you are AI-Amplified. AI is part of your daily workflow for drafting, analysis, and research, and you know how to check its output and use it responsibly with sensitive data. (most commercial, marketing, finance, people, and G&A roles)
AI is part of your daily default. You use it to draft, analyze, research, and pressure-test your own thinking.
You can show concrete examples where AI made your work meaningfully faster or better.
You know its failure modes: you check its work, and you don't paste sensitive data into public tools.
Assessment: We'll ask you to walk through how you'd use AI to tackle a real task from the role.
One assessment principle across all tiers: we're testing judgment and adaptability, not whether you've memorized today's tools. Tools change quarterly; the ability to learn and apply them is what compounds.
