We are looking for an experienced Application Operations Technician to join Sopra Steria Polska for a team that cooperates with one of our Norwegian clients.
Note that we can only offer cooperation to people are located in Silesian area and are willing to commute to our office in Katowice.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary technical resource for one or more business-critical applications.
- Handle operational issues, incidents, and technical support for applications and users.
- Coordinate activities with Application Owners, Service Owners, and cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot complex application-related issues and ensure service stability.
- Plan and execute application migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle activities.
- Manage and optimize enterprise applications in hybrid environments (Azure, OCI, AWS, GCP, On-prem).
- Monitor application performance and drive continuous service improvements.

Must have requirements:
- Experience managing and supporting enterprise applications in hybrid environments (Azure, OCI, AWS, GCP, On-prem).
- Understanding of application operations, application architecture, and integrations.
- Good knowledge of Windows Server environments and administration.
- Experience with application migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience collaborating with multiple technology teams and business stakeholders.
- ITIL Foundation certification (or equivalent experience).
- English B1-B2 level.
Nice to have requirements:
- AZ-800 & AZ-801: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
- AZ-104 Azure Administrator (or equivalent AWS/GCP/OCI certification)
- AZ-400, AZ-305, or AZ-140 certifications.
Other requirements:
- Structured in operations and documentation
- Customer-oriented, ensuring stable and responsive end-user experience
- Team player, effective in cross-technology collaboration
- Proactive in identifying performance improvements and capacity needs
