About the Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and execution-focused Discounting & Supply Strategy Manager to drive growth for our Dineout business. This role will be responsible for sourcing, structuring, and managing restaurant discounts across cities, optimizing platform-funded vs partner-funded constructs, and owning end-to-end campaign supply.You will work closely with city teams, partner restaurants, and product teams to ensure competitive, scalable, and high-impact discount strategies that drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
Key Responsibilities
1. Discount Supply Strategy & Sourcing
- Own the sourcing of discount constructs across restaurants and cities
- Design and implement scalable discounting strategies aligned with business goals
- Identify gaps in supply and drive targeted acquisition of high-quality offers
- Collaborate with city/category teams to ensure strong coverage across key cuisines and demand clusters
2. Discount Configuration & Management
- Oversee end-to-end discount configuration on the platform
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely updates of offers across all partner restaurants
- Monitor performance of live discounts and optimize for conversion, revenue, and margins
3. PnL management
- Define and manage the sharing structure between platform-funded and restaurant-funded discounts
- Optimize investment allocation to maximize ROI and unit economics
- Work with city and finance teams to track spend, leakage, and effectiveness
4. Campaign Supply Ownership
- Lead sourcing and execution of offers for key campaigns (seasonal, city-level, national)
- Ensure timely readiness of supply for all marketing initiatives
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align on campaign objectives and expected outcomes
5. Performance Tracking & Insights
- Analyze discount performance across cities, cohorts, and restaurant segments
- Generate actionable insights to improve discount efficiency and effectiveness
- Build dashboards and reporting frameworks for continuous monitoring
6. Stakeholder Management & Operations
- Work closely with sales, account management, marketing, finance, and product teams
- Drive operational excellence in discount execution and governance
- Manage and mentor junior team members where applicable
Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in business strategy, category management, consulting, or growth roles
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel/SQL (preferred)
- Experience in consulting, marketplace businesses, food-tech, e-commerce, or hyperlocal platforms is a plus
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment
- Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
