About the role:
As a Senior Fullstack Engineer, you’ll join our Risk & Capital team, the business charter building the foundation for how we understand and manage risk across Hippo. Your work will focus on creating the data infrastructure we currently lack – building integrations, microservices, and data pipelines to connect us with industry-standard risk and capital models and tools. This is a long-term greenfield project where you’ll tackle complex, large-scale data challenges with a modern tech stack, collaborate closely with a talented team, and develop deep expertise in the insurance carrier domain. It’s a chance to make a real impact while growing your career.
What will you do?
- You’ll partner closely with product, engineering, and business teams across multiple domains to drive meaningful projects from concept to delivery.
- You’ll design, build, and maintain reliable software solutions that power critical parts of the business.
- You’ll actively shape our software architecture, bringing your ideas and expertise into technical discussions.
- You’ll work closely with product managers and QA engineers to ensure we deliver software of the highest quality.
- You’ll balance maintaining existing systems with developing new features, ensuring stability while pushing innovation.
- You'll lead some team initiatives and technical projects.
