Summary

The Director Sales, Americas is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategies that drive revenue and maximize growth for Syntegon. This position leads a Sales Team for New Equipment Sales, Food in the Americas.  This position has a key responsibility in managing relationships with our customers as well as the senior leadership team to ensure the Sales Department goals are aligned with Syntegon business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and motivate the new equipment sales team to meet and exceed company objectives
• Identify and analyze market trends within the packaging industry to remain competitive in the industry.
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve targets.
• Collaborate with the team to establish annual performance targets for the department.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure alignment with sales efforts.
• Monitor and analyze data to identify areas for adjustment or improvement.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports and information to the leadership team.
• Evaluate the team on a on going basis and recommend tools or training that will increase productivity of the team.

 

Basic Requirements                                                                                                

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales or other relevant degree or substitute for equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years experience leading a team
• 10+ years experience working with capital equipment
• 5+ years experience in sales

The anticipated base salary for this position ranges from 170k-200k annually plus bonus.

Compensation for roles at Syntegon varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience.
