About the Role

As a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) at Synthflow, you’ll be the bridge between our technology and our customers’ real-world success. You’ll work hand-in-hand with enterprise clients after the sale to implement, customize, and optimize Synthflow’s AI phone agent solutions for their unique environments.

You’ll combine strong technical acumen with customer empathy — translating business challenges into scalable solutions and ensuring smooth deployment, adoption, and measurable impact. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you’ll be both a builder and a strategic partner, helping customers realize the full value of Synthflow’s platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of Synthflow’s AI phone agent platform for enterprise customers — from solution design to configuration, integration, and go-live.

• Collaborate closely with customer engineering, operations, and success teams to align technical deployments with business objectives.

• Develop and maintain integrations with CRMs, telephony systems, and workflow automation tools.

• Proactively identify optimization opportunities, guiding customers to get the most out of their deployment and achieve meaningful business outcomes.

• Act as the technical voice of the customer, translating their needs into actionable product insights and collaborating with Synthflow’s engineering and product teams.

• Troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent technical issues, ensuring reliability and a frictionless experience in production environments.

• Create best practices, playbooks, and technical resources that improve future implementations and enable customer self-sufficiency.

• Contribute to account growth and renewal by driving strong adoption and long-term technical alignment.

Who You Are

• You have 3–6 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role such as Forward Deployed Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or Solutions Engineer.

• You’re a hands-on problem solver — comfortable writing and debugging code (e.g. Python, JavaScript, or low-code integrations).

• You’ve led enterprise software implementations or integrations, ideally involving APIs, CRMs, or telephony platforms.

• You have experience or deep interest in AI/ML technologies, especially conversational AI or LLM-based systems.

• You’re a strong communicator who can bridge technical and business perspectives with clarity.

• You thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments and are motivated by helping customers succeed.

Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Points)

• Experience integrating or supporting telephony providers, SIP, or contact center systems.

• Background in LLM prompting, AI orchestration, or intelligent automation.

• Familiarity with enterprise post-sales success frameworks (adoption, enablement, value realization).

• Track record of driving renewals, expansions, or measurable customer outcomes in enterprise settings.
