We're hiring a Senior Manager, Engineering Recruiting who’s not just a strong leader, but also a builder—someone who thrives at the intersection of people, process, and technology. You’ll lead a team of 8 full-cycle technical recruiters and partner closely with engineering and product leaders to scale thoughtfully, strategically, and with a long-term view in mind.
This role is for someone who’s not afraid to roll up their sleeves, has deep experience in technical recruiting (bonus points if you’ve sourced or owned exec-level searches), and is excited about what’s possible when recruiting evolves alongside AI and the future of work.

At Upstart, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. The anticipated base salary for this position is expected to be within the below range. Your actual base pay will depend on your geographic location–with our “digital first” philosophy, Upstart uses compensation regions that vary depending on location. Individual pay is also determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
