About Our Tech Stack
Our platform API is built on the most recent version of .NET and deployed on serverless and managed infrastructure. It is designed following RESTful best practices and is consumed directly by our customers, as well as by our web and Salesforce-based user interfaces. These interfaces are completely stateless and do not include any server-side processing. All functionality and business logic are made available through the same API that our customers can directly consume.
About You As a software engineer on one of our cross-functional pods, you will contribute to the development, scaling, and maintenance of our API platform. Responsibilities
- Own the design and implementation of complex product features and platform improvements, writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Act as a technical leader within the team by producing and maintaining high-quality technical documentation, including design decisions, trade-offs, and operational considerations
- Partner closely with Product, Support, and Implementation teams to ensure reliable, well-designed solutions for API customers
- Apply and champion best practices around security, performance, observability, and maintainability across the Verifiable Platform
- Drive troubleshooting and debugging of complex production issues, contributing to long-term reliability through post-incident improvements
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through feedback, code reviews, coaching, pairing, and knowledge sharing
- Troubleshoot and debug issues in the Verifiable Platform, contributing to the continuous improvement of system reliability, while participating in on-call rotations and representing Engineering across our organization.
- Learn and grow by proactively seeking feedback, participating in knowledge-sharing sessions, and staying current with emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience developing and operating web-based products at scale, with a consistent record of delivering high-quality, production-ready solutions
- Deep hands-on experience designing, building, and evolving RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs using C# and .NET, including ownership of API design decisions and backward compatibility
- Strong experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server), including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning in production environments
- Proven experience operating in customer-facing or production-critical environments, including diagnosing and resolving customer-impacting issues
- Demonstrated ability to lead incident troubleshooting in real time, perform root-cause analysis, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive resolution and prevention
- A clear bias for action and ownership—you identify problems, propose solutions, and drive them to completion with minimal direction
- Experience leveraging agentic coding assistants effectively to improve developer productivity and code quality
- Prior experience mentoring engineers or serving as a technical lead on projects
Nice to haves
- Solid experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes in production environments
- Hands-on experience with AWS services, DevOps practices, and designing or maintaining CI/CD pipelines
