As our Deputy General Manager your focus is to work closely with your teams to develop a great work relationship and together to provide the best customer service.
As well as having an excellent presentation, organisational and communication skills, you will be able to demonstrate a real passion for food & service and possess bags of enthusiasm.
- Support the General Manager in delivering an outstanding catering and hospitality experience.
- Lead, motivate and develop the team, creating a positive and high-performing working environment.
- Take a visible, hands-on approach, supporting the operation during busy service periods and events.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver a variety of events, ensuring they run smoothly from initial preparation through to delivery.
- Maintain consistently high standards of food presentation, service and customer experience.
- Build strong relationships with the client, customers and key stakeholders.
- Support team training, development and performance, helping colleagues reach their full potential.
- Support the commercial performance of the contract, identifying opportunities to drive sales and manage costs effectively.
- Ensure excellent standards of cleanliness, food safety, health and safety and operational compliance.
- Respond quickly and positively to changing operational requirements and customer needs.
- Support continuous improvement, bringing new ideas and creativity to the catering, hospitality and events offer.
- Previous management or supervisory experience within catering, hospitality or a similar fast-paced environment
- Strong events management experience
- A genuine passion for food, service and the customer experience
- A visible, hands-on leadership style
- The ability to inspire, motivate and develop a team
- A commercial mindset and an eye for detail
- Confidence building strong relationships with clients, customers and colleagues
- The energy and flexibility to thrive in a varied hospitality environment
