About The Role

We are seeking a seasoned and hands-on Director / Senior Director of Talent Acquisition to lead and elevate our global recruiting function. Depending on experience, direct industry/company stage experience, and demonstrated leadership scope, this position may be hired at either the Director or Senior Director level. This role is an opportunity to architect the next phase of Talent Acquisition at YipitData — expanding the team's strong operational strengths into a strategic, metrics-driven, and tech-enabled hiring engine.

You will lead a growing team (currently 7, with plans to expand), partner closely with senior leadership on workforce planning and executive hiring, and build a proactive internal sourcing capability. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone excited to operate at both strategic and operational levels — designing scalable systems while staying close to execution.

For candidates joining at the Senior Director level, there will be additional near-term opportunities to shape broader talent strategy, influence organizational planning, and serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on talent-related decisions.

We are looking for a leader who thrives in high-growth environments, brings operational rigor, understands how to leverage modern recruiting technology (including AI tools), and builds strong cross-functional partnerships across the business.

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarters is located), one of our office hubs (Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, or Seattle), or anywhere else in the US. However, depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding.

As Our Director / Senior Director of Talent Acquisition, You Will:

Lead & Elevate the TA Function

• Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing recruiting team
• Design the future-state TA org structure, capacity model, and sourcing strategy
• Partner with senior leadership on workforce planning and critical hires
• Personally oversee senior-level and executive searches
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on talent strategy, hiring priorities, and organizational growth plans

Build a Proactive, Scalable Hiring Engine

• Build and scale an internal sourcing function from scratch
• Implement outbound talent pipelining and market mapping strategies
• Establish clear hiring SLAs and cross-functional alignment mechanisms
• Develop performance-based metrics and dashboards that drive accountability

Drive Operational & Systems Excellence

• Own and optimize our ATS strategy (Greenhouse experience strongly preferred)
• Evaluate and implement recruiting technology, including AI-enabled tools
• Improve forecasting, reporting, and quality-of-hire measurement
• Ensure disciplined, scalable recruiting processes across technical, sales, and finance hiring

You Are Likely To Succeed If:

You bring 10+ years of recruiting experience, including experience:

• Leading recruiting teams in startup and high-growth environments (3+ years of experience in a management capacity)
• Hiring across technical (engineering, data analyst), sales/GTM, and finance services roles, as well as supporting VP/C-level searches
• Building and maintaining an internal sourcing function (hands-on agency experience is a plus)
• Working with Greenhouse or similar ATS platforms (strongly preferred)
• Building, scaling, and optimizing recruiting operations, processes, and talent acquisition strategy across multiple functions

You are both strategic and hands-on — comfortable designing org structure and metrics frameworks while also diving into complex searches. You run a tight ship operationally and believe recruiting should be measurable, accountable, and continuously improving.

You are a strong cross-functional partner. You build trust quickly, communicate clearly, and can navigate ambiguity while keeping teams aligned and focused on what matters most.

Candidates considered for the Senior Director level will typically bring additional experience leading larger recruiting organizations, owning workforce planning initiatives, scaling teams through significant growth, and influencing executive-level talent decisions.

• The annual on-target earnings for this position are anticipated to range from $210K–$230K OTE at the Director level. For exceptionally qualified candidates hired at the Senior Director level, compensation may be adjusted based on experience, scope, and internal benchmarks within a range of $240K-270K OTE.
• The compensation package also includes equity.

This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. We also have office hubs in Austin, Miami, and Mountain View. If the remote work is performed outside of these offices, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.
