We are looking for a high-performance IT Technical Recruiter who can move fast, think commercially, and consistently deliver results across diverse technologies and locations.
As an IT Technical Recruiter, you will own the recruitment lifecycle end-to-end — from sourcing and engagement to screening, submission, and closure.

Key Responsibilities (Results First)
1) End-to-End Recruitment Delivery
- Manage full-cycle recruitment across multiple IT skill sets and locations
- Deliver candidates quickly without compromising quality
- Drive outcomes across contract and permanent hiring requirements
2) Proactive Sourcing & Pipeline Building
- Proactively source and engage candidates through direct outreach and targeted conversations
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter / RPS, Boolean search, referrals, and market mapping
- Build and maintain conversion-ready pipelines aligned to active demand
3) Strong Candidate Engagement (Relationship + Trust)
- Build strong candidate relationships through consistent follow-up and honest communication
- Keep candidates warm, motivated, and ready to move quickly when roles go live
- Create a strong candidate experience that improves offer acceptance and retention
4) Technical Screening & Commercial Alignment
- Demonstrate solid technical understanding to assess skills, experience, and role fit
- Qualify candidates on:
- availability and notice period
- motivation and role alignment
- work rights / visa status (where relevant)
- location / relocation / remote preferences
- rate expectations / salary alignment
- Present candidates clearly with structured summaries and strong submission quality
5) Delivery Urgency & Execution Discipline
- Work with urgency in time-critical hiring scenarios (enterprise + government timelines)
- Maintain high activity levels with clear prioritisation across roles
- Follow up consistently to progress candidates through interview and offer stages
6) Client & Account Manager Collaboration
- Partner closely with Account Managers and clients to understand role priorities
- Push for feedback, interview scheduling, and closure outcomes
- Contribute market insights to improve hiring strategy and speed
7) ATS & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the ATS
- Track and report on:
- outreach activity
- pipeline health
- submission volumes
- interview conversions
- offers and joiners
What We’re Looking For
Must-Have
- Proven experience recruiting for IT roles (agency preferred)
- Strong sourcing capability (LinkedIn + Boolean)
- Confidence speaking to candidates and driving outcomes
- Ability to work fast, manage pressure, and stay organised
- Ownership mindset + strong follow-up discipline
Good to Have (Big Advantage)
- Experience recruiting for Australian market / time zones
- Exposure to enterprise and government hiring processes
- Knowledge of niche IT skill areas (Cloud, Cyber, Data, DevOps, ERP, Integration, etc.)
