IAI M&A Portfolio Analyst

The Innovation, Architecture and Infrastructure (IAI) M&A Portfolio Analyst is an individual contributor to the management maintenance and enhancement of IAI M&A portfolio of project, providing logistics and planning assistance to the Merger & Acquisition (M&A) Director, Leads and Portfolio Lead. The position has the responsibility for the management of all detailed aspects of the IAI portfolio. In addition, the IAI M&A Portfolio Analyst will assist in the development and maintenance of M&A and Facilities Expansion playbooks, deployment process and standards. The position will be instrumental in the development, identification and implementation of risks, resource constraints, issues tracking and all other aspects of portfolio health. 

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. 
• Consult with service areas to develop understanding of the varied and complex business needs supported by portfolio initiatives. Responsible for determining how changing business needs will impact the portfolio. Understand the role of the individual portfolio initiatives in the big picture and provide ideas and recommendations regarding the management and coordination between individual initiatives in the portfolio. 
• In the context of the overall portfolio, assist the portfolio lead to work with all stakeholders to analyze the portfolio to align resources, identify critical dependencies and highlight/monitor/manage overall risk. Proactively work with all stakeholders in advance of these criticalities so that they can be avoided or escalated. 
• Review and manage the impact of changes to individual projects in the portfolio, and surface any issues driven by those changes. Communicate portfolio changes and issues to IAI M&A governance team. 
• Ensure current and accurate portfolio documentation, coordinate and drive portfolio reviews for the IAI M&A Governance team. Provide process, playbook and standards expertise, and support training & education for the broader IAI M&A team. Involved with the Portfolio Lead and M&A Leads regarding planning/scheduling and resource allocation. 
• Produce collateral to be used in portfolio governance; assist M&A and Facilities leads to produce required process deliverables in support of individual M&A and Facilities initiatives. Support the M&A and Facilities leads in status reporting, and drive consistency in all reporting across the project portfolio. 
• Accountable for the financial tracking of all project budgets and assisting the Leads with timely management and accuracy of all forecasting and financial management. 

Required:

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 years’ experience or Master's Degree in Information Systems or related field.
• Experience in providing analysis for infrastructure projects and programs. 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and well-developed verbal and written communication skills. 
• Must be able to effectively lead and facilitate meetings with customers and technical team members. 
• Must be deliverables focused and detail oriented. 
• Must exhibit exceptional teamwork skills. 
• Must have a strong customer focus. 

Preferred:

• Prior experience with M&A or Facilities Upgrade projects a plus.
