Job Title: Commercial Painting Estimator
Employment Type: Full-Time, Remote
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM US Pacific Time
Compensation: USD $1,800–$2,600 per month (depending on experience)

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Commercial Painting Estimator to join a growing remote team supporting large multifamily construction projects throughout the United States.
This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience preparing accurate takeoffs and estimates for commercial painting projects, particularly apartment communities and other large residential developments. You'll work independently to produce detailed estimates, review drawings and specifications, respond to project questions, and manage multiple bids simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for commercial painting projects.
Review architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop complete estimates.
Estimate interior and exterior painting scopes for large multifamily apartment complexes and other commercial projects.
Utilize takeoff and estimating software such as Bluebeam, Revit, or similar industry-standard platforms.
Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Scope Change Items (SCIs) throughout the estimating process.
Track multiple active bids while meeting deadlines and maintaining estimated accuracy.
Identify potential risks, scope gaps, and clarifications during bid preparation.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure complete and competitive proposals.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of estimating experience supporting US commercial construction projects.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Experience estimating projects involving 250–400+ unit apartment complexes.
Familiarity with Bluebeam, Revit, and other construction estimating platforms.
Proven experience estimating commercial painting projects, preferably large multifamily developments.
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
Experience performing detailed quantity takeoffs using industry-standard estimating software.
Excellent understanding of commercial painting methods, materials, and production rates.
Experience supporting active projects through RFIs, scope clarifications, and change management.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple concurrent estimates independently.
