Lead Designer - LATAM

The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Lead Designer to own the visual output of Alpha Lion’s brand across every consumer-facing surface: packaging, website, Amazon, retail, launches, and campaigns.
This is a hands-on maker role. You’ll personally design and deliver the work that customers see, not manage designers, not write strategy decks, not attend meetings about design. The work is the job. You’ll also own the production process end-to-end: finished art, prepress, print specs, and supplier handoff. Design and production live in one seat because we don’t split what shouldn’t be split at this stage.
If you’re a designer who’s tired of having your best ideas filtered through layers of approvals and committees, and you want to own the output end-to-end at a brand on a real growth trajectory, this is the role.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and deliver the brand refresh. Personally execute packaging, DTC website, Amazon storefront, landing pages, PDPs, and retail POS. You do the work; this isn’t a directing role.
- Own packaging production and finished art. Prepare all artwork to print-ready standards. Manage dielines, colour profiles, finishes, and supplier specs. Catch production issues before they become reprints.
- Build the visual identity system. Translate brand strategy into a cohesive design language: typography, color, iconography, photography direction, and packaging structure. Make it real and make it scale.
- Execute design for product launches. Deliver all visual assets for new products: packaging, PDPs, campaign creative, email, and social templates. Work within launch timelines and partner with media and CRO teams.
- Create design systems that scale. Build templates, component libraries, and brand asset kits so the company can move fast on routine work without compromising quality.
- Grow into strategic influence. Over time, shape briefs, challenge direction, and contribute to brand positioning, earning the strategic seat through the quality and impact of your work.

- Alpha Lion’s brand refresh is shipped across all touchpoints and is visually distinctive in the category
- Customers experience one coherent brand regardless of where they find us: DTC, Amazon, retail, social
- Production files ship clean, zero reprints caused by file errors or spec issues
- Design systems and templates enable faster launches without quality degradation
- Creative assets contribute to measurable improvements in acquisition and conversion performance
- You’re producing work you’re proud of, at a pace that matches the business
Who You Are:

- Own the full process. You don’t hand off a “finished” design and walk away. You own it through prepress, proofing, and print. Production quality is your quality.

This role is NOT for you if:
- You prefer directing designers over doing the design yourself
- You need fully defined briefs and specifications before you can start working
- You hand off designs and expect someone else to handle production
- You prioritize process and documentation over shipped creative output
Experience & Skills:
- 5–8 years in design roles with a portfolio of work YOU personally designed
- Expert in Figma, Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop—these are your daily tools
- Strong packaging design experience, including dielines, print production, prepress, and colour management
- Demonstrated finished art expertise, you’ve prepared files for print and worked directly with printers/suppliers
- Track record of building brand identity systems that work across digital and physical touchpoints
- Experience working in CPG, DTC, FMCG, or consumer brands where design quality directly impacts business outcomes
- Supplements, men’s wellness, or performance categories are a strong bonus, but not required
