Summary:
We are seeking a proactive, intellectually curious Data Analyst to support the Finance, Strategy, and Executive teams. In this role, you will partner closely with leaders across the organization to analyze subscription performance, unit economics, and operational efficiency, and to inform strategic and financial decision-making.
You will lead analyses across payments, cash receipts, subscription retention, pricing, and customer lifetime value; develop scalable forecasting and reporting frameworks; and build self-serve analytics tools that enable stakeholders to monitor performance and evaluate trade-offs. You will translate complex subscription data into clear, actionable insights that guide planning, strategic decisions, and execution in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze subscription performance and economics: Conduct deep-dive analyses of subscriber acquisition, conversion, retention, and churn to understand and improve the health of the subscription business.
- Forecasting and planning: Build and maintain forecasting models for subscribers, cash, and revenue to support strategic planning.
- Define and track success metrics: Establish and refine KPIs that measure the health of the subscription business and define success for the company.
- Build self-serve reporting tools and dashboard: Create and maintain automated dashboards and reporting tools that enable business partners to monitor business health and explore data independently.
- Translate data into insights: Synthesize complex analyses into clear, actionable insights and recommendations that inform leadership decisions and improve revenue growth, retention, and profitability.
- Communicate findings clearly: Present results and recommendations to a broad range of stakeholders in a concise, compelling, and accessible way.
- Influence business reviews: Shape weekly and monthly business reviews with executive stakeholders, ensuring the right metrics and insights inform decisions on growth, retention, and profitability.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in a product analytics, data analytics, or related role supporting subscription-based businesses.
- Exploratory analysis: Ability to conduct exploratory data analyses and synthesize complex datasets and ambiguous questions into clear, actionable insights.
- Technical skills: Advanced proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets; experience with data transformation and modeling (e.g., dbt) is a plus. Extensive experience with a BI tool such as Omni, Looker, or Lightdash.
- Statistical analysis: Ability to perform statistical analyses and create visualizations using R or Python; experience with forecasting, cohort analysis, or financial modeling is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, applied math, data science, economics, computer science, or related discipline).

Total Compensation:
The estimated salary range for a new hire in this position is $150,000 USD to $170,000 USD. Salary may vary depending on job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
