We are currently seeking to add an experienced Sr Project Manager/Engineer VIII to our dynamic team in Vancouver, Washington to serve as an owner’s representative in the delivery and administration of local Agency-led capital improvement construction projects. This is a part time variable role. Scheduled hours may vary.
In this role, the ideal candidate will serve the local City agency to oversee the construction contractor’s compliance with contract documents. The candidate will take the lead serving to protect the local Agencies interests with oversight as construction manager and assigned construction inspectors in the delivery of complex municipal construction projects. The candidate will be the primary interface with the client, city stakeholders, utilities, construction contractors, and the public.
This position is ideal for a municipal construction services leader who excels at contract administration, schedule and cost analysis, change management, and claims avoidance, and who understands the boundary between owner oversight and contractor control of means and methods.
