CoreStack and BetterCloud are seeking a strategic, growth-oriented Vice President of Marketing to lead our marketing organization and accelerate growth across both businesses. Reporting directly to the President of BetterCloud, this executive will be responsible for building and executing an integrated marketing strategy that drives pipeline, strengthens our market position, and leads the evolution toward a unified brand narrative.
This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for overseeing demand generation, product marketing, brand, communications, digital marketing, customer marketing, partner marketing, marketing operations, and events. The VP of Marketing will serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership, helping shape market positioning, accelerate growth, and build a modern, AI-powered marketing organization.
We're looking for a modern marketing leader who has successfully scaled B2B SaaS organizations, has deep expertise in demand generation, and embraces AI as a force multiplier across marketing strategy, execution, and operations.
Develop and execute the marketing strategy that accelerates revenue growth across CoreStack and BetterCloud.
Build a predictable, scalable demand generation engine that consistently delivers qualified pipeline and revenue.
Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success to improve conversion rates, accelerate deal velocity, and support customer retention and expansion.
Establish performance metrics across the funnel and optimize marketing investments using data-driven decision-making.
Lead account-based marketing (ABM) initiatives focused on enterprise accounts and strategic opportunities.
Own marketing's contribution to pipeline, bookings, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
Lead positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy across the portfolio.
Guide the evolution toward a unified brand narrative while preserving customer trust and product differentiation.
Partner with Product Management to successfully launch new products, features, and platform capabilities.
Strengthen public relations, thought leadership, and customer advocacy.
Ensure campaigns clearly communicate differentiated customer value and business outcomes.
Develop compelling market narratives that establish CoreStack and BetterCloud as leaders in cloud management, SaaS management, AI governance, security, and IT operations.
Champion the adoption of AI across the marketing organization to improve productivity, personalization, campaign performance, content creation, forecasting, and customer insights.
Identify, evaluate, and implement AI technologies that create measurable business impact.
Leverage AI to improve marketing operations, reporting, automation, and decision-making.
Establish best practices and governance for responsible AI usage within marketing.
Foster a culture of experimentation, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing marketing organization.
Recruit, mentor, and retain exceptional marketing talent.
Create a culture grounded in accountability, curiosity, collaboration, and customer focus.
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, Customer Success, Finance, and executive leadership to align company priorities.
Serve as a strategic advisor to the President of BetterCloud and executive leadership team on growth opportunities, market trends, competitive positioning, and customer insights.
12+ years of progressive B2B technology marketing experience with significant leadership responsibility.
Proven success leading marketing for high-growth SaaS, cloud, or enterprise software companies.
Deep expertise building and scaling demand generation programs that drive measurable pipeline and revenue growth.
Strong experience across product marketing, demand generation, digital marketing, communications, brand, customer marketing, and marketing operations.
Demonstrated success partnering with Sales to build an integrated revenue engine.
Experience leveraging AI to improve marketing effectiveness, efficiency, and scalability.
Strong analytical skills with expertise in marketing metrics, attribution, forecasting, CAC, pipeline generation, and ROI.
Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
Experience managing multimillion-dollar marketing budgets and allocating investments to maximize business impact.
Experience marketing cloud management, SaaS management, cybersecurity, identity, governance, FinOps, CloudOps, or enterprise infrastructure solutions.
Experience leading marketing through periods of rapid growth, acquisition, integration, or organizational transformation.
Experience marketing to CIOs, CISOs, IT Operations, Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, and Finance leaders.
Experience building and scaling teams in a high-growth technology environment.
MBA or equivalent executive leadership experience.
Within your first 12 months, you will:
Build a scalable marketing engine that consistently delivers high-quality pipeline.
Increase marketing's contribution to revenue growth and improve marketing efficiency.
Modernize the marketing organization through thoughtful adoption of AI.
Establish a cohesive brand narrative across CoreStack and BetterCloud.
Strengthen alignment between Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success.
Elevate brand awareness, market perception, and competitive differentiation.
Build a high-performing marketing team that thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Salary Range: $300,000 OTE
This salary range represents BetterCloud’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of posting, and BetterCloud may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. The final salary for this position will be determined in BetterCloud’s sole discretion, consistent with applicable law, and based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the employee’s work experience, skills, and qualifications for the role, as well as the needs of BetterCloud’s business and other operational considerations. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed, and earning is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive compensation plan.
