Ownership of the full lifecycle of the assigned product segment(s):
Build and maintain a competitive product portfolio with a strong focus on new product development, in close alignment with engineering and manufacturing partners (internal and external). Identify measures to close portfolio gaps and maximize growth potential (e.g., preparation of business cases).
Product strategy alignment and market insight:
Align the product strategy with relevant country sales organizations while continuously gathering insights on users, markets, competitors, and technologies. Hold overall responsibility for monitoring progress and presenting all relevant topics related to the product segment.
Business planning:
Prepare business cases and business plans to further develop the assigned product segment(s).
Operational product management:
Execute operational product management activities in close collaboration with country sales organizations.
Strategic initiatives and special projects:
Support strategic initiatives and take ownership of special projects within the product management area.
University degree (Master’s, MBA) in International Business, Management, Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent field
Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management, Marketing, or Sales of durable or technical (consumer) products in an international context; exposure to AC products is a strong asset
Communicative, self-driven, and proactive, with strong negotiation skills
Structured and analytical working style
Able to negotiate and deliver presentations to management in English
Additional languages are an advantage (e.g., German, Chinese)
Solid understanding of P&L mechanics and their impact on profit improvement
Collaborative mindset; willing to travel internationally (including Asia) and open to working with diverse cultures
